How Pay in View handles wage inputs, optional device storage, downloaded reports, and deletion.

## Paycheck and W-4 inputs

The take-home paycheck calculator keeps its inputs in tab memory only. Its tax, benefit, and W-4 entries are not part of saved gross-pay history, imports, or exports. Closing or reloading the tab clears them. The saving controls described below apply to the original gross-pay tools.

## Wage inputs stay in your browser.

The calculator does not send your rates, hours, paycheck entries, or shift plans to a server. It does not place them in URLs. This release includes no analytics, advertising scripts, error-reporting service, accounts, or document uploads.

## Saving is your choice

Inputs stay in tab memory until you explicitly enable device saving and press Save. Saved history uses this site’s browser storage. It includes your period name, dates, rates, hours, scope answers, checker entries, and planned shifts. It is not encrypted by the app. Other people who use the same browser profile may be able to read it.

Saved data is not synced or automatically backed up. Private browsing, browser cleanup, device loss, or storage limits can remove it. If saving fails, the current calculation stays open and the app reports the failure.

## Delete or export

Use the history panel to delete a record or clear all saved data. You can also clear this site’s data in browser settings. JSON exports and downloaded reports remain wherever you save them. Deleting browser history here does not delete those files.

## Site requests and external links

Your browser requests the site’s HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and bundled font. Cloudflare Workers Static Assets is the selected host for https://payinview.com. Cloudflare may process ordinary request details such as IP addresses and page paths to deliver and protect the site. Wage inputs are not part of those requests.
